Embraer is negotiating E2 regional jet sales with potential Chinese customers to penetrate the world's fastest-growing aviation market. The E190-E2 and E195-E2 models have already received certification from local Chinese authorities.
The company positions its E2 jets to complement domestic C909 and C919 aircraft by filling specific capacity gaps. While Embraer maintains an active presence in China, it has not yet secured a major order for the E2 family.
Success in this market would broaden Embraer’s customer base and support future production growth.
