Enbridge will acquire Salt Creek Midstream’s crude oil gathering business for $600 million in cash. This acquisition deepens the company's presence in the Permian Basin.
The deal includes full ownership of the Orla and Wink North systems. Enbridge also gains a 50% interest in the Delaware Crossing system. These assets encompass approximately 500 miles of pipelines across Texas and New Mexico.
More than 20 producers currently use the infrastructure. Long-term contracts with an average life of 10 years support the assets. The combined systems provide a throughput capacity of 420,000 barrels per day.
The network will connect directly to the Gray Oak Pipeline and the Ingleside Energy Center. Ingleside operates as the largest crude export terminal in North America.
Enbridge expects the transaction to be immediately accretive to earnings. The deal closes in late 2026 pending regulatory approval.
