Elbit Systems launches Twenty-Six Defense, targeting record $32 billion order backlog

Elbit Systems Ltd. consolidated its U.S. operations into a new subsidiary named Twenty-Six Defense. The company established its headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas. This unit employs approximately 3,300 people across the United States.

The restructuring aims to strengthen the company’s American identity through domestic manufacturing and engineering. This expansion supports a record global order backlog of $32 billion.

The move follows more than $370 million in recent contracts from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Twenty-Six Defense remains a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems.
