S&P Dow Jones Indices will add FedEx Freight Holding Company to the S&P 500. The change becomes effective before the market opens on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
The move follows FedEx Freight's spin-off from FedEx Corp., which concludes on June 1. FedEx Corp. will maintain its position as a constituent of the S&P 500.
FedEx Freight replaces EPAM Systems Inc. in the index. EPAM Systems will transition to the S&P SmallCap 600 index to reflect its small-cap market status. S&P 500 inclusion typically increases stock demand from passively managed index funds.
