FTAI Aviation’s joint venture, J&F Power Systems, secured a $1.465 billion purchase order from an undisclosed international cloud service provider. The order involves Mod-1 mobile gas turbine generator sets to support power infrastructure expansion.
This initial purchase is part of a five-year master supply agreement that allows for additional future orders. Deliveries will occur in batches through November 2027.
The contract represents a significant portion of the company’s targeted 2027 deliveries for Mod-1 CFM56 aeroderivative units. The milestone-based payment structure begins with an advance payment upon signing. Payments will then progress through the production, testing, and commissioning phases.
