GE Vernova is finalizing energy and electricity agreements in Venezuela following months of negotiations. The company joins other international firms including Chevron and India’s ONGC in these pacts.

Most agreements involve migrating oil contracts to an amended hydrocarbon law. This legal shift grants foreign companies increased operational flexibility over oilfield expansion and exports.

The new framework allows firms to manage sales proceeds directly. For GE Vernova, these deals expand its long-cycle electric power market portfolio despite regional political and execution risks.
