Polen Capital Management, a global asset manager known for its high-conviction growth strategies, established a new position in GE Vernova (GEV) with the purchase of 196,610 shares. According to the firm's quarterly disclosure, the stake was valued at approximately $231 million as of June 30, 2026, and accounted for 1.99% of its reported portfolio. The investment was revealed in a delayed 13F filing, which discloses trades made during the second quarter.
In its Q2 2026 investor letter, Polen Capital noted it initiated the position as it considers GE Vernova one of the few global companies capable of supplying the power generation equipment needed to meet rising electricity demand. GE Vernova, which was spun off from General Electric in April 2024, focuses on energy transition technologies, including power generation, wind, and electrification solutions.
