Gorilla Gold Mines (ASX:GG8) reported high-grade drilling results from the Val discovery at its Vivien Gold Project in Western Australia.
The Val discovery now spans over 400 meters of strike and 400 meters down-dip. Mineralization remains open in all directions.
Top intercepts include 0.9 meters at 23.0g/t gold and 4.5 meters at 4.0g/t gold. Drilling also identified a new mineralized zone in the footwall approximately 100 meters from the main Val lode.
The discovery sits 70 meters from the fully permitted Vivien underground mine infrastructure. The Vivien project currently holds a mineral resource of 278,000 ounces at 4.2g/t gold.
Gorilla Gold will resume drilling at the Val and Vince prospects within the coming weeks.
