Alphabet's Google has entered into a massive cloud services agreement to pay SpaceX $920 million per month for access to high-demand computing power. The deal, disclosed in a SpaceX regulatory filing, is set to run from October 2026 through June 2029 and could generate over $30 billion in revenue for SpaceX if it runs for the full term.
The agreement provides Google with access to a vast infrastructure of approximately 110,000 NVIDIA GPUs, along with CPUs and memory, to support its artificial intelligence initiatives. The contract includes a ramp-up period at a reduced cost and allows either party to terminate with 90 days' notice after the end of 2026. This move underscores the intense competition for AI-related computing resources among major tech companies.
