Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) has reduced the price of petrol by 8.8%.
Petrol now sells for GH¢13.87 per litre, down from the previous price of GH¢15.20.
Diesel prices decreased by 3.3% to GH¢15.95 per litre from GH¢16.50.
The price adjustments follow a decline in international prices for refined petroleum products.
Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have eased, leading to a more stable global supply outlook.
These reductions were implemented despite the Ghanaian government withdrawing the remaining diesel fuel price relief.
