Google entered a multiyear "premium partnership" with French soccer club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). The agreement runs through 2029. The deal designates Google's Gemini as PSG's official AI assistant. Google Pixel becomes the club's official smartphone.
The collaboration focuses on enhancing fan engagement and content creation. PSG's media teams will use Pixel phones to capture behind-the-scenes content. Gemini will integrate into the club's digital platforms to develop interactive experiences for supporters.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. A dedicated Google technology space will be established at PSG's Parc des Princes stadium in Paris.
This initiative reflects a broader trend. Sports organizations increasingly adopt AI to analyze data and create digital content.
