The new version introduces a standalone desktop application designed to act as a central hub for developers to orchestrate multiple AI agents working in parallel on complex coding tasks. This shifts the development paradigm from simple AI assistance to managing autonomous agents that can plan and execute programming jobs with minimal supervision.
Key additions to the Antigravity ecosystem include a lightweight command-line interface (CLI) for developers who prefer a terminal environment and a software development kit (SDK) for creating custom agent behaviors. The platform is powered by Google's new, faster Gemini 3.5 Flash model. These tools aim to accelerate software development by allowing AI agents to handle tasks like refactoring code, generating tests, and even building application components from a specification.
