Anthropic is closing a new funding round that values the company at over $900 billion. This figure surpasses rival OpenAI’s most recent valuation of approximately $852 billion. The valuation rose from $380 billion in February 2026.
The financing round is expected to exceed $30 billion. Sequoia Capital and Dragoneer Investment Group are reportedly co-leading the investment.
A massive revenue ramp-up supports the valuation surge. Anthropic expects its annualized revenue run rate to exceed $50 billion by the end of June 2026.
This funding is considered a pre-IPO round. The company may launch a public offering as early as October 2026.
