Alphabet’s Google will invest at least €13 billion ($15.1 billion) in Finnish artificial intelligence infrastructure. This project marks the company's largest single investment in Europe.
Google will develop data centers across four distinct locations. The investment is scheduled to take place during 2027 and 2028.
These facilities will power the Gemini AI model, Search, Maps, and YouTube. Finland’s cold climate and low-carbon electricity supply attracted the energy-intensive project.
