Alphabet’s Google Cloud and IBM have formed a strategic partnership to accelerate corporate artificial intelligence adoption. The deal establishes a new Google Cloud Practice within IBM Consulting.

The initiative leverages thousands of Google Cloud-certified IBM consultants to modernize systems and deploy AI. Both companies describe the collaboration as a multi-billion-dollar opportunity.

The partnership integrates the IBM Consulting Advantage platform with Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. IBM will develop industry-specific AI agents for the banking, retail, and telecommunications sectors.

These optimized agents allow IBM consultants to design and deploy enterprise-grade tools directly on Google Cloud. The strategy aims to transition clients from pilot programs to full-scale AI implementation.
