Waymo opened its autonomous ride-hailing service to the general public in Dallas, Texas. The Alphabet-owned company officially removed the waitlist, transitioning the program to a full commercial launch.

This expansion follows a limited-access phase earlier this year. Waymo has already provided rides to nearly 150,000 people from its local interest list.

The company continues autonomous testing at Dallas Love Field Airport. It also plans to begin fully autonomous trials on Dallas freeways.
