Grifols is reorganizing its global operations to grant subsidiaries greater financial and operational independence. The plan creates a standalone structure for the U.S. biopharma business, separating it from all other international markets.
Under the new model, plasma collected in the U.S. will serve the domestic market exclusively. Plasma sourced from other regions will supply Europe and international territories.
Management expects the reorganization to drive long-term margin expansion and increase operational resilience. The company is also expanding its sourcing initiative in Egypt to further diversify its plasma supply.
