Hansoh Pharma announced that its experimental antibody-drug conjugate, risvutatug rezetecan (Ris-Rez), met the primary goal in a late-stage osteosarcoma trial. The China-based study demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in progression-free survival compared to standard chemotherapy. Eligible patients had previously received at least two prior therapies for the bone cancer.
This result marks the second successful Phase III trial for Ris-Rez following positive data in small-cell lung cancer. The findings validate the drug’s B7-H3 target and its potential across multiple cancer types. Hansoh plans to submit the data for regulatory approval in China.
GSK continues global development of the drug for various solid tumors. Current research focuses on applications for lung and prostate cancers.
