HDFC Bank subsidiary HDB Financial Services (HDBFS) raised ₹3,000 crore through Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) issued to institutional investors. The subsidiary will list these debt instruments on the BSE Wholesale Debt Market. This capital infusion provides long-term funding for credit expansion. The move precedes a regulatory deadline for large non-bank financial companies to list. This funding could improve valuation benchmarks for the company’s upcoming initial public offering.

HDFC Bank reduced its Marginal Cost of Funds-based Lending Rate (MCLR) by 5 basis points across select tenures. These changes take effect on July 7, 2026. The reduction will lower monthly installments for borrowers with loans linked to the MCLR.
