HIVE Digital Technologies announced a three-year GPU cloud contract valued at approximately $220 million. The agreement involves subsidiary BUZZ High Performance Computing, Bell Canada, and AI firm Cohere.
This partnership aims to build sovereign AI infrastructure within Canada. BUZZ HPC will deploy 2,304 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GPUs at Bell’s data center in British Columbia.
The deal signals HIVE’s strategic transition from Bitcoin mining to AI infrastructure. HIVE shares jumped approximately 10% in pre-market trading following the announcement.
