Honeywell secured its largest-ever commercial aircraft contract to equip 810 new Airbus A320neo family jets for IndiGo. The agreement expands a partnership with India’s largest airline that began in 2015.
Honeywell will provide 131-9A auxiliary power units (APUs), advanced weather radar, and traffic collision avoidance systems. The package also includes flight management systems and a long-term aftermarket support program.
This deal solidifies Honeywell’s position in India’s rapidly growing aviation market. IndiGo will use the technology to support its domestic and international expansion plans.
