Robinhood Markets launched a major international expansion on July 1 to grow its customer base outside the United States. The company plans to introduce cryptocurrency trading in the United Kingdom and broaden its product offerings across the European Union.
In the EU, Robinhood is expanding its perpetual futures trading beyond cryptocurrency. Eligible European investors can now trade derivatives on gold, crude oil, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and foreign currencies.
These contracts feature no expiration date and remain available for trading 24/7. The platform offers up to 10x leverage on these new asset classes.
