Hexcel Corporation and Deutsche Aircraft signed a long-term supply agreement at the ILA Berlin Air Show. Hexcel will provide advanced composite materials for the D328eco, a next-generation regional turboprop aircraft.
The agreement covers materials for primary and secondary structures designed to reduce weight and enhance fuel efficiency. This partnership strengthens Hexcel’s position in the European aerospace market and supports a shared commitment to sustainable aviation.
The D328eco program is a major European initiative focused on developing environmentally friendly aircraft. Industrialization is centered at a new carbon-neutral final assembly line in Leipzig/Halle.
