SK Hynix disclosed a new class-action antitrust lawsuit in an amended SEC filing for its U.S. initial public offering. The California-based suit alleges the company engaged in price-fixing for DRAM products beginning in October 2022. Plaintiffs claim the manufacturer conspired with others to restrict supply and artificially inflate prices.
The disclosure comes as the South Korean firm moves forward with its significant U.S. listing. SK Hynix plans to use the offering proceeds to expand manufacturing capacity and acquire advanced chipmaking equipment. The company expects to spend approximately $7.6 billion on these initiatives through 2027.
