NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang confirmed SK Hynix passed the qualification process for the Vera Rubin AI platform. The announcement occurred during Huang’s visit to South Korea on June 5.

SK Hynix will supply HBM4 memory for the next-generation chips. All three major memory manufacturers have entered mass production to compete for these supply contracts.

The company currently holds a dominant market share for NVIDIA’s existing AI accelerators. This qualification ensures continued revenue from the high-growth AI sector despite competition from Samsung and Micron.
