IBM Study Forecasts AI to Add Over $500 Billion to India's Economy by 2030

IBM and IndiaAI released a study titled "From promise to power: How AI is redefining India's economic future." The report forecasts AI will contribute over $500 billion to India's economy by 2030.

Eighty percent of Indian business leaders believe AI will shape the nation's economic path. Seventy-three percent of surveyed executives expect India to become a leading global AI nation by 2030.

The research identifies an "inflection gap" in current implementation. Seventy-two percent of Indian organizations feel they lag behind global peers in AI adoption. Bridging this gap remains critical for India to achieve global AI leadership.
