Indra Group signed an agreement with German defense contractor Rheinmetall to integrate NEMUS AESA radar into the StrikeShield active protection system. The partnership strengthens defenses for next-generation armored vehicles against drones and hypersonic projectiles.
The NEMUS radar tracks targets ranging from slow drones to projectiles traveling faster than 2,000 meters per second. This integration enables precise threat detection, fire control calculations, and automated countermeasures.
The collaboration establishes Indra as a global supplier of advanced radar solutions for active protection systems.
