Baker Hughes and Kodiak Gas Services signed a multi-year strategic agreement to provide up to 1.8 gigawatts (GW) of power generation. The partnership addresses surging electricity demand from U.S. data centers and energy infrastructure.
The agreement includes an initial order for approximately 1 GW of capacity to be delivered by 2030. This initiative responds to grid constraints and rapidly growing power needs from digital infrastructure expansion.
Baker Hughes will supply NovaLT™16 and Frame 5 gas turbines alongside BRUSH™ Power Generation generators. These technologies support scalable, behind-the-meter power projects for customers with limited grid access.
The collaboration establishes a framework for nearly 2 GW of power to alleviate strain on the existing grid. This project directly supports the infrastructure buildout required by the AI industry.
