Terrestrial Energy advances Utah projects, following DOE nuclear campus shortlist

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) shortlisted Utah as one of five states for its proposed Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campuses (NLICs). This initiative creates substantial investment and contracting opportunities across the nuclear power industry value chain.

Terrestrial Energy maintains an existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Salt Lake City-based EnergySolutions. The companies are currently assessing sites for the deployment of Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR) plants.

A potential nuclear campus in Utah could accelerate Terrestrial Energy's planned projects in the region. The DOE selection provides a competitive advantage to firms with established operations in the shortlisted states.
