Incyte announced on June 26, 2026, that its Opzelura (ruxolitinib) cream received a positive CHMP opinion. The committee recommended the drug for adults with moderate atopic dermatitis when conventional therapies fail.

This recommendation serves as the final step before a formal European Commission marketing decision. Opzelura would become the first steroid-free, topical JAK inhibitor available in the European Union.

The CHMP based its opinion on safety and efficacy data from the pivotal Phase 3 TRuE-AD program.
