IndiaMART InterMESH will double its artificial intelligence spending every six months. The investment aims to curb fake product listings and improve content verification. This strategy addresses counterfeit concerns that previously placed the company on the U.S. Trade Representative's Notorious Markets list.

The company is developing in-house AI tools and collaborating with external firms. New pattern-matching technology will identify proxy seller accounts. Real-time voice-to-text tools will also be introduced to accelerate buyer request processing.

IndiaMART did not disclose its specific AI budget. Total technology and content expenses for fiscal 2026 were approximately 2.26 billion rupees.
