Former Infosys CEO and SAP executive Vishal Sikka has launched a new enterprise AI startup, Hang Ten Systems, securing $32 million in a seed funding round. The round was led by Mayfield, with participation from Aramco Ventures and other angel investors. Based in Palo Alto, the new venture also adds Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang to its board of directors.

Hang Ten Systems aims to help large enterprises utilize generative AI to build and operate business software more efficiently, challenging the traditional "human-hours" model of IT services. The company's platform focuses on using AI for code generation and modernizing enterprise applications to deliver tangible business results. The startup is already working with global enterprises, including Siemens Energy and Fresenius.
