Infosys has appointed Ashiss Kumar Dash as CEO Designate. He will assume the roles of Managing Director and CEO on April 1, 2027. Dash succeeds Salil Parekh, who will step down after more than nine years in leadership. The five-year appointment remains subject to shareholder approval.
Dash is a 30-year veteran of the company. He currently serves as Global Head of a portfolio spanning services, utilities, resources, energy, and sustainability. The board cited his strategic expertise as vital for the company's upcoming phase of AI-driven expansion.
The leadership transition follows the release of first-quarter results for fiscal year 2027. Infosys narrowed its revenue growth guidance for the full fiscal year during the same period.
