Intel is reportedly expanding its partnership with TSMC to secure more 2-nanometer chips for upcoming high-end processors. This move aims to increase production flexibility and reduce reliance on a single manufacturing process as Intel develops its own 18A technology.
The company’s forthcoming Nova Lake platform will utilize a combination of Intel’s 18A process and TSMC’s N2P process.
Separately, Intel released research titled The Robotics Readiness Gap. The study found that 60% of senior leaders expect their organizations to operate robot fleets within five years. However, only 40% of these leaders currently have a formal strategy for a mixed human-robot workforce.
