Intel (INTC) announced a public offering of $15 billion in common stock.

The company will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including working capital and capital expenditures. These funds will support growth opportunities while maintaining a strong balance sheet. Intel aims to capitalize on rising customer demand for AI computing.

Intel shares fell more than 3% following the announcement. The stock issuance will dilute value for existing shareholders. Underwriters hold a 30-day option to buy more stock. This option covers up to $2.25 billion in additional shares.
