Intel detailed its Agentic AI architecture at the Hot Chips 2026 conference. The three-part strategy targets markets ranging from large-scale data centers to edge devices.

The Diamond Rapids processor serves enterprise-scale AI workloads. It features up to 256 cores. Intel will manufacture these chips using its 18A-P process.

The Crescent Island GPU handles AI inference tasks. It utilizes LPDDR5X memory for power-efficient performance. Wildcat Lake processors will launch as the Intel Core Series 3. These chips integrate AI capabilities into mainstream PCs and edge devices.

Intel adopts a heterogeneous approach combining diverse processors and open industry standards. The strategy utilizes internal foundry technologies like Foveros 3D packaging.
