IREN signed a definitive agreement to acquire cloud provider Mirantis for approximately $625 million. The all-stock transaction integrates Mirantis’s expertise in cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes-based orchestration.

The acquisition aims to bolster IREN’s AI Cloud services. This integration enhances the company's ability to deploy and manage AI workloads at scale.

Mirantis currently serves more than 1,500 enterprise customers. The firm will operate as a standalone subsidiary while supporting IREN’s AI Cloud deployments.

Co-CEO Daniel Roberts stated the software expertise builds on IREN’s existing data center capabilities. The deal remains subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
