Johnson & Johnson is investing over $1 billion to expand its vision care operations in Jacksonville, Florida. The project scales domestic manufacturing and distribution to meet rising demand for ACUVUE contact lenses.
The expansion includes a new distribution facility and advanced packaging technologies. This project is part of the company's $55 billion commitment to U.S. manufacturing and R&D through early 2029.
Construction is currently underway at the Florida site. The facility is scheduled to be fully operational in 2028.
