KBR will provide technology licensing and Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) services for a new sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) plant on Singapore's Jurong Island. Keppel's Infrastructure Division is developing the project in collaboration with Aster Chemicals and Energy.

The facility will utilize KBR's proprietary PureSAF℠ technology, which was developed by Swedish Biofuels AB. The proposed plant features a production capacity of up to 100,000 tons of SAF per year.

This project supports Singapore's goal of becoming a leading SAF hub in Asia. KBR also signed a Memorandum of Intent with Keppel to collaborate on additional energy transition technologies.
