KULR Technology Group is collaborating with Factorial Inc. to integrate solid-state and lithium-metal cells into advanced drone battery packs.

The partnership aims to improve unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) performance through lightweight solutions with greater endurance and high power output. These batteries address the limitations of conventional lithium-ion technology in demanding flight missions.

KULR will apply its thermal management, safety, and pack design expertise to optimize Factorial’s technology for flight environments. The initiative supports Factorial’s strategy to deploy its battery platform across U.S., European, and Asia-Pacific drone markets.

The companies showcased initial battery pack demonstrations at the XPONENTIAL 2026 conference in Detroit.
