China’s Yangtze Memory Technologies (YMTC) surpassed Kioxia in global NAND memory market share during Q2 2026. Counterpoint Research reports that YMTC captured 14% of the global market. The company now holds third place in the industry.

YMTC shipments grew 22% year-over-year. This expansion followed global supply shortages and increased demand from domestic OEMs.

Kioxia fell to fourth place as rising server prices slowed customer purchases. Samsung and SK Hynix remain the top two market leaders.
