Lucid Group and Bolt have signed a strategic partnership to develop autonomous ride-hailing services in Europe. Bolt aims to deploy at least 25,000 Lucid autonomous vehicles across several European cities.
The collaboration focuses on a vehicle capable of SAE Level 4 autonomy. These vehicles will use Lucid’s upcoming midsize platform and Nvidia’s Hyperion architecture.
This initiative supports Bolt’s objective of reaching 100,000 autonomous vehicles on its platform by 2035. The Financial Times reports the current agreement is a memorandum of understanding.
