L3Harris Technologies signed a seven-year framework agreement with Lockheed Martin and the Department of Defense. This agreement aims to nearly triple production of propulsion systems for the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) interceptor. Parties expect to finalize the formal contract later this year using multi-year procurement authorities.
The deal covers the production of the PAC-3 MSE's two-pulse solid rocket motor, Attitude Control Motors, and the Lethality Enhancer. L3Harris is expanding its manufacturing capacity to support this long-term demand signal. The company is currently investing in dozens of new facilities and upgrading nearly 1 million square feet of production space.
