Li Auto officially entered the Macao market by opening its first local retail center. The company partnered with a regional automotive dealer, marking a shift from the direct-sales model used in mainland China.

Initial offerings include the i6 and i8 electric SUVs adapted for local regulations and cross-border travel. These models feature specialized window glass and updated telematics software.

This launch serves as a strategic precursor to a planned Hong Kong rollout in the fourth quarter. Li Auto is using the Macao framework to test international software variants and a dealership model for future expansion into Central Asia and the Middle East.

The move strengthens the company's service network in the Greater Bay Area and establishes a gateway to the wider Asia-Pacific region.
