Li Auto officially launched a revamped L8 SUV, shifting from a six-seat configuration to a more spacious five-seat layout. The new model debuts in two variants, the Ultra and Livis.
Introductory pricing for the SUV starts at RMB 359,800. The vehicle features four standard zero-gravity seats to enhance interior luxury. Updated dimensions make the new L8 both longer and wider than its predecessor.
A new 72.7 kWh battery powers the extended-range system. The pure-electric range now reaches 430 km under CLTC standards. Total combined range for the vehicle is 1,670 km.
Reports indicate Li Auto is integrating proprietary chips to power the vehicle's digital systems. This development reflects a trend among Chinese manufacturers to move core technology production in-house.
