Eli Lilly and Company will present new cardiometabolic data at the American Diabetes Association's 86th Scientific Sessions from June 5-8. The presentations feature Phase 3 results for Foundayo, Mounjaro, and the investigational drug retatrutide.
The Phase 3 ACHIEVE-3 study showed Foundayo was superior to oral semaglutide in reducing A1C levels. Foundayo led to 73.6% greater relative weight loss compared to oral semaglutide in patients with type 2 diabetes.
Foundayo also outperformed dapagliflozin in clinical trials. This once-daily oral GLP-1 medication functions without food or water restrictions.
