Lockheed Martin and the U.S. Space Force successfully launched SV10, the tenth and final satellite in the GPS III series. This event completes the modernization of the GPS III constellation.

The upgraded fleet delivers three times greater accuracy than previous generations. It also provides eight times stronger anti-jamming capabilities. The SV10 satellite features an optical crosslink demonstration to enable direct communication between satellites for enhanced resilience.

Lockheed Martin is now shifting focus to the next-generation GPS IIIF series. The company currently has 12 GPS IIIF satellites under contract. This new series will introduce Regional Military Protection, providing a 60-fold increase in anti-jamming performance for military users.
