Marina Bay Sands is increasingly dominating Singapore’s recovering casino industry. The property generated over US$2.1 billion in casino revenue during the first half of 2026. This performance more than triples the revenue of its competitor, Resorts World Sentosa.

The widening performance gap occurs as Resorts World Sentosa faces a critical casino license renewal. Growth is primarily driven by returning tourists and high-rollers from China and other Asian markets.

Las Vegas Sands is planning an approximately US$8 billion expansion to solidify its market position. The project features a new 55-story hotel tower and a 15,000-seat entertainment arena. These new developments are expected to open in 2031.
