Mastercard enacted a significant leadership restructuring today, August 3, 2026. These changes, originally announced in June, aim to align executive roles with customer needs and accelerate global growth.

Ling Hai, formerly President of Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and Africa, assumes the role of Chief Financial Officer. Outgoing CFO Sachin Mehra transitions to the newly created position of Chief Business Officer. In this role, Mehra will oversee global country operations and go-to-market strategies.

The restructuring includes several additional senior management appointments. Linda Kirkpatrick becomes Chief Services Officer, and Dimi Dosis takes the role of Chief Commercial Payments Officer. Mastercard stated these moves will unify its customer focus and enhance organizational execution.
