The Delhi High Court restrained Bank of Maharashtra from auctioning a property in Dwarka, New Delhi. Both Bank of Maharashtra and the State Bank of India (SBI) are asserting security interests over the disputed asset.

SBI classified the associated loan as a Non-Performing Asset (NPA) in May 2025. The bank initiated legal proceedings following this classification.

The court order halts the auction and prevents Bank of Maharashtra from taking possession of the property. This restraint remains in place pending further adjudication of the competing claims.
